Hi, I’d like to tell you all about a special project that I am working on with my parents. It is called Action In Music, Inc. or A.I.M. I feel like I have been really, super lucky in my life and have gotten lots of opportunities to do fun stuff – like My Wife and Kids and Heroes. Action In Music is a way for me to share a little of my good luck with others.
Basically, the AIM program takes inner-city kids who are musicians to other countries where they can use their musical talents to help the kids in those countries by giving concerts to raise money for things like hospitals and orphanages.
AIM is a program that's as much about raising people who care as it is about raising money – though it does raise money too. I have visited hospitals and orphanages all over the world and it is such a great feeling to know that you have helped someone – even if it’s just a little bit. Once you start doing it, you never want to stop.
